Quick take
The short version for teams evaluating the platform.
We collect the account, workspace, and integration details needed to run olwen.
Billing is processed by third-party payment providers and only the related subscription data is stored in the app.
You can disconnect integrations, update your account details, or request deletion through the olwen team.
Information we collect
olwen collects the information needed to authenticate users, generate AI visibility insights, and publish or measure content on your behalf.
- Account details such as your name, email address, organization membership, and session information.
- Brand and workspace details you provide, including site URLs, company description, publishing preferences, and content generated in the platform.
- Integration data when you connect services like a CMS or CDN, including the credentials, tokens, webhook URLs, and related configuration required to make the integration work.
- Usage and analytics data, such as product interactions, browser information, and crawler or traffic events sent to olwen.
- Billing-related metadata needed to manage subscriptions and access.
How we use information
We use collected information to deliver the product and keep it reliable.
- Create and secure accounts, organizations, and workspace access.
- Analyze your brand presence across AI platforms and generate strategy, reporting, and content recommendations.
- Publish or schedule content when you enable connected integrations and autoposting features.
- Process billing, send onboarding and product emails, and respond to support requests.
- Monitor performance, debug issues, and improve the product over time.
When we share information
We only share data when it is necessary to operate the service or when you direct us to do so.
- With infrastructure, analytics, email, authentication, and billing providers that help us run olwen.
- With third-party platforms you connect to the product, such as your CMS or CDN, when a feature depends on that connection.
- With teammates in your organization based on the permissions and roles configured in the workspace.
- If required by law, legal process, or to protect the security of olwen and its users.
Retention and security
We keep data for as long as it is needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
- We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect account data and connected service credentials.
- Connected credentials and webhook details are stored so integrations can keep working until you disconnect them or remove your account.
- Some records may remain in backups or billing systems for a limited period after deletion requests are processed.
Your choices
You stay in control of the data you provide to olwen.
- You can update account or workspace information from the product as features allow.
- You can disconnect CMS and CDN integrations and disable automated publishing features.
- You can request account deletion or ask privacy questions by emailing founders@tryoption.ai.
- You can also control cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings, though some sign-in features may stop working.
Policy updates
olwen may update this page as the product evolves.
- When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
- Your continued use of the service after an update means the revised policy applies going forward.
